Our Story
We met at the top of 2023, three and a half years ago. Pau was in her second year of grad school, and her second year away from Texas. Nic had just moved back to the Piedmont from western North Carolina after six years away from home.
We met online, like many people do now, and fell in “like” quickly after. A few months after that, and we fell in love. Pau has her masters degree now, and is nearing completion of her PhD. Nic has begun his full time career as an air traffic controller. These years together, the best of our lives so far, have passed in what seems like a moment.
A constant in that time together, and a core tenet that governs the richness of our relationship, has been the presence of friends and the connections we build with the people we love. We are elated not just to make the commitment of marriage to each other, but to share in that commitment with all of you. Thank you for being there for us.
