Temples to Visit
Church of Santo Domingo de Guzmán
A 17th-century masterpiece, this is one of Mexico's most significant Baroque examples. The stunning Rosary Chapel inside is truly marvelous, and the main altar was beautifully restored in 1956.

The Cathedral

Museums & Culture
Museum of Cultures
This museum houses the Pre-Hispanic and Ethnographic Art Museum of Oaxaca along with the Francisco Burgoa Library. It features 14 permanent exhibition rooms and nine fixed thematic rooms. Surrounded by the Ethnobotanical Garden, it offers guided tours throughout the week.
